SALIHU IBRAHIM MOHAMMED
Dr. Salihu Ibrahim Mohammed is an accomplished broadcaster, sports journalist, and media executive with extensive experience in Nigerian broadcasting. A native of Warrake in Owan East Local Government Area of Edo State, he holds a National Diploma in Mass Communication from Auchi Polytechnic, as well as a Master’s degree and PhD in Mass Communication from the University of Benin.
He began his broadcasting career with Gombe Media Corporation during his National Youth Service Corps and later joined DAAR Communications PLC, where he built a distinguished reputation as a sports reporter, producer, and presenter. In 2015, he joined KU FM 92.7 as a pioneer staff member and has since played a pivotal role in the station’s growth and success.
Popularly known as the “Ibracadabra of Sports,” Dr. Salihu is one of Nigeria’s most respected sports journalists, with numerous awards to his credit. He currently anchors KU FM’s flagship sports programmes, Sports Fiesta and Balls of Fire, bringing insightful analysis and engaging sports commentary to listeners across the region.
