approved an upward review of hazard allowances and other earned benefits for members of the Non-Academic Staff Union of Educational and Associated Institutions in federal universities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Under the new package, laboratory hazard allowance for senior employees on CONTISS 6-15 will rise from N360,000 to N486,000 annually.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Employees on CONTISS 1-5 will see their allowance increase from N180,000 to N243,000 annually.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The National Salaries, Incomes and Wages Commission conveyed the approval in a circular dated July 20, following an agreement reached with NASU on June 29.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The new package takes effect
