will begin a two-week replacement of the expansion joint at Kara Bridge on the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway today Tuesday, July 28.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Lagos State Ministry of Transportation says the repair will reduce the existing four-lane carriageway to two lanes over a 1.5-kilometre stretch.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Motorists have been advised to expect partial traffic disruptions around the Kara axis during the repair period.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The ministry says moderate traffic is expected around Fatgbems Turn as some drivers make U-turns or divert to alternative routes while taffic heading towards Ibadan beyond Fatgbems Turn is expected to experience minimal disruption.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Kara Bridge is one of the busiest sections of the expressway, serving as a key link between Lagos, Ogun State and other parts of the
