\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Rescue efforts have intensified at the scene of a collapsed three-storey lodge in Oko, Anambra State, where the body of a female student has been recovered.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Officials say the body of a young man has also been located beneath the rubble but is yet to be retrieved.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A combined team including the Red Cross, NEMA, SEMA and the Fire Service is using heavy-duty excavators to search for anyone still trapped.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">SEMA&#8217;s Acting Executive Secretary, Ndidi Omega, confirmed the death and said three injured persons had earlier been taken to hospital.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Police have appealed to residents to remain calm and avoid spreading unverified information as the search
