has appealed to the Benin-Asaba Expressway Concession Company (BAECC),the concessionaire handling the reconstruction of the Benin-Asaba Highway to allow the Federal Ministry of Works to bring in competent contractors to execute the project, citing their lack of capacity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Minister of Works, Engr.David Umahi, made the appeal on Wednesday at a stakeholders\u2019 meeting in Government House, Benin City, convened to address the persistent gridlock and complaints from motorists along the 125-kilometre road.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">K U FM&#8217;s Nlebedum Asagwaram report that the Minister of Works, said the concessionaire had failed to add value to the project, 16 months after the ground breaking
