Match-day 6 fixtures of the EuroMatch Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL were completed on Monday as Ranchers Bees and Rivers United played out a goalless draw in Kano.

The result means the match-day produced three draws recorded across the 10 matches played, while a total of 15 goals were scored during the round.

Ranchers Bees will take some encouragement from securing a point against Rivers United, a side that had entered the fixture following a commanding 5–0 victory over Kun Khalifat in their previous league outing.

The goalless result also added another layer of competitiveness to a Match-day 6 that produced several notable results across the country.

Abia Warriors were among the biggest winners of the round, thrashing Bendel Insurance 3–0 while Plateau United defeated Inter Lagos 2–0 and Ikorodu City also secured a notable 2–0 home victory over defending champions Rangers International.

Elsewhere, Katsina United defeated Doma United 2–1, Nasarawa United edged Niger Tornadoes 1–0, while Warri Wolves also claimed a narrow 1–0 victory over Shooting Stars.

Kun Khalifat defeated Kwara United 1–0, while Kano Pillars and Enyimba played out a goalless draw as Sporting Lagos and Barau FC also shared the points after a 1–1 draw.

With all 10 fixtures now completed, the NPFL table remains tightly contested, with clubs continuing to battle for points at both ends of the standings.

The conclusion of Match-day 6 sets the stage for another demanding round of fixtures, with teams expected to intensify their efforts as the season progresses.
