sizes=\"(max-width: 550px) 100vw, 550px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Edo State Government has revealed plans to rehabilitate the Oba Akenzua The Second Cultural Center in Benin City to restore it as a public monument and a hub to attract all cultural activities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Secretary to Edo State Government Musa Ikhilor disclosed the state plan while receiving members and Executives of Aiguobasinmwin movement world-wide and Coalition of Benin social cultural organizations who paid him a courtesy visit in his office on Thursday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Ikhilor said aside from the Oba Akenzua Cultural Center, the Edo State Government will also renovate some areas in the palace of the Oba of Benin that needs renovations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">He noted that the Cultural Center would have been renovated and rehabilitated a year ago but lack of budgetary allocation affected the plans of the government.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Commissioner for Art, Culture and creative economy, Honourable Chris Okaiben said Edo culture is one of the greatest in Nigeria, noting that advancing into the creative sector will bring endless benefits to Edo people and the State at large.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Edo State Government has
