NIGERIA’S FLAMINGOS DRAWN IN GROUP B OF 2026 FIFA UNDER-17 WOMEN’S WORLD CUP

Nigeria’s Flamingos have been drawn in Group B of the Morocco 2026 FIFA Under-17 Women’s World Cup along with Poland, Puerto Rico and North Korea.

The Flamingos qualified for the competition following an 8-5 aggregate victory over the Young Amazons of Benin Republic in the final round of the qualifiers.

Nigeria won the first leg 3-2 first-leg win at the Remo Stars Sports Complex in Ikenne before completing the job with an impressive 5-3 victory in the return leg in Lomé on Saturday.

Theybwill face Poland in their opening fixture at the Women’s Football Complex, Pitch 4 in Rabat on Saturday the 17th of October.

Nigeria’s second game against Puerto Rico will hold at the same venue on Tuesday the 20th of October.

The Flamingos will round up their group stage campaign against two-time champions North Korea at the Women’s Football Complex, Pitch 1 in Rabat on Friday, October 23.

The tenth edition of the FIFA Under-17 Women’s World Cup is scheduled to hold from the 17th of October to the 7th of November 2026.
