Cross River State’s Governor, Bassey Otu has reshuffled his cabinet as the state enters its electioneering phase.
The decision was announced at an emergency State Executive Council meeting in Calabar, with some commissioners redeployed and others retained for strong performance.
Governor Otu described the exercise as a deliberate recalibration, saying it was neither punitive nor a reward system.
He urged commissioners to treat their ministries as performance centres, warning there is no room for complacency.
