Former Falconets star, Flourish Sabastine has joined reigning Portuguese women’s league champions Benfica on a three-year deal that will run till 2029.
Benfica confirmed the signing in a video posted on their official X handle on Monday.
The Nigerian joined Benfica from Turkish club Fenerbahce where she spent just one season, scoring 12 goals in 25 appearances.
In her only season with the Turkish side, Sabastine helped the club to the league title.
The 21-year-old was part of the Falconets squad that featured at the 2022 and 2024 FIFA Under-20 Women’s World Cup.
She made her Super Falcons debut on the 6th of October 2022 in a friendly match replacing Uchenna Kanu for the last nine minutes of a 2–0 loss against Japan.
