Veteran Nigerian singer, Daddy Showkey, has expressed disappointment over the prolonged feud between twin brothers, Peter and Paul Okoye of P-Square, saying their dispute destroyed what he described as Africa’s biggest music brand.
Speaking during an interview with Goldmyne TV, Daddy Showkey said the impact of the brothers’ disagreement extended beyond the duo because of the massive following they built over the years.
The music veteran stressed that entertainers owe much of their success to their fans and should therefore consider the public when making major decisions that affect their careers.
Daddy Showkey warned that the long-term consequences of the brothers’ feud could become more apparent with time, urging them to resolve their differences and preserve their relationship as siblings.
The singer further warned that allowing the dispute to persist could affect the next generation.
The comments come amid the lingering dispute involving Peter and Paul, as well as their elder brother, Jude Okoye, who previously managed the music duo.
The brothers’ disagreements have continued to attract public attention, with fans and industry figures repeatedly calling for reconciliation.
