CAF OFFERS ONE HUNDRED THOUSAND DOLLARS GRANT TO CLUBS ELIMINATED IN PRELIMINARY ROUNDS

The Confederation of African Football, CAF will provide a One Hundred Thousand Dollars grant to clubs eliminated from its inter-club competitions during the preliminary rounds.

The financial support will apply to clubs knocked out of the CAF Champions League and Confederation Cup before reaching the group stage.

The measure is designed to provide financial relief to participating clubs, particularly those with limited resources, by helping to offset some of the costs incurred during their continental campaigns.

The grant can assist clubs with expenses related to travel, logistics and other operational costs associated with their participation in the competitions.

The decision also represents a change in CAF’s financial policy towards clubs eliminated in the early stages of its inter-club competitions.
