IGBO COMMUNITY VISITS ONDO POLICE CHIEF OVER VIRAL ETHNIC BIAS VIDEO

Members of the Igbo community have visited the Commissioner of Police, Felix Ohagwu, following a viral video showing officers making ethnically insensitive remarks to a motorist.

The delegation, under the Non-Indigenes Assembly, commended the police command for its swift and transparent response to the incident.

The Ondo State Police Command had earlier arrested four officers captured in the video, which showed a heated exchange with a motorist who accused them of extortion and ethnic profiling.

Police Public Relations Officer Abayomi Jimoh said the delegation expressed appreciation for the Commissioner’s directive ordering a comprehensive investigation.
